Alice Jordan organizer for the Dr. Martin Luther King March is joined by Keynote speaker Dr. Chris Griffith

Tune in as I discuss the recent episodes of gun violence and the need for Gun Control, gun safety, liability and insurance. Recent news stories have shown that guns are clearly falling into the wrong hands and something must be done to keep our streets safe along with our children.
In this episode I also began my newest segment: My Netflix Pick- tune in to find out what I recommend this week!
As we look forward to President Barack Obama's public inauguration, we must remember that we still have much to overcome. That the dream that Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King longed for is within reach, but that we as a nation still face many hurdles, discrimination still lurks, wage discrimination is a fact.
Alice Jordan discusses the Seaside California March assembling at 11am and commencing at noon on Obama Way (Broadway) and Noche Buena by the Social Service Building. The march will include keynote speakers including Dr. Chris Griffith, child, adult and adolescent psychologist who will discuss the issues facing us today including childhood obesity. There will also be commitment cards which will celebrate Dr. King and show that we are following his teachings and giving back to the community. I believe that it is important to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King not only on his day, but that we take his teachings and incorporate them into our daily lives- giving back to the community and bringing the dream into a reality. Yes, we have come a long way, but there is still a road ahead that we must overcome!
